Thunderbolts Festival 2024
Thunderbolts Festival celebrating 25 years!! Will be held Saturday 26th October (11am-3pm) in the lovely Alma Park, Queen St, Uralla. Theme: Loud Shirts and Hula Skirts. Entry is free!

NEW – Bush Poets Breakfast at the Bowlo 7:30am for 8am start, all welcome!
10:30am Fleet Warbirds Street Parade includes; Uralla Hot Rod & Bike Night riders, Capt. Thunderbolt, Classic Cars, Antique Machinery, fire engines, local schools and community groups. Official opening by Mr Brendan Moylan MP.
There will be kids’ activities, a $2 wristband gives them access all day to; the rock climb wall, inflatable obstacle course, giant slide and jumping castles.
Street Performers; Hemlock’s “Man-Trap” Show, think dingo trap 2.5m long! Plus Helly Hoops roving circus performer and her free circus play space for kids - hula hoops, poi and magical giant bubble show.
Local bands; Four Book Trilogy and Chilli Jam & Friends will provide live music entertainment through the day.
Market stalls in Alma Park, NEMAS Medieval Arts display and spontaneous combat, face painting, photo booth, hula hoop competition and New England Antique Machinery Display.
The Herd Bar coffee van will be onsite, local schools with BBQ’s plus hot dogs food stalls and Friends of McMaughs with their tea & sandwiches.
NEW – Car and Bike Event at the Bowlo from 12pm to 5pm; car & bike show, tattoo comp and bike gymkhana.
NEW – Night Event at Alma Park; 7:30-8:30pm DJ Electric Postman, Helly Hoops Show and Playspace with interactive neon hula hoops and Uralla Arts Lantern Parade & static display.
